NOOOOOO!
A merger would kill GM. Sergio’s already starting to kill Chrysler by neglecting them and without them Alfa will also die because it won’t sell in good numbers. Also, Saab sucks.. Flamesuit on.

I wouldn’t touch fiat with a 10 foot stick. Their unreliability and general shittiness are infectious

You can’t kill GM, as 2008 proved. As 2015 recalls have proved. I have my doubts about the government standing by as two of the biggest U.S. companies attempt a merger, though.
Anyway, if Fiat has done alright in the U.S., Alfa will be fine. Not 150,000 or whatever crazy number Sergio said, but they’ll be fine if everyone just does a decent job.
Look at this and tell me it doesn’t look like a concept car:

Are you going to the Oppo meet next week?

You can’t kill GM because they kill you first!
Sergio just wants to milk GM for all its money because his huge company is apparently not profitable (mostly because he’s a putz).
Alfa hasn’t even met half its goal yet for the 4C this year and performance cars are big right now.

1. No. If he tries, i’ll personally fuck him up.
2. No. Alfa is pretty much fiat’s Pontiac these days, one or two cool models, the rest just tarted up versions of shitty cars under the guise of “excitement”
3. Fuck you, Hemi 300s are my shiznit.
4. Fuck Saab. GM saved them once and Saab fucked themselves into bankruptcya second time. They had their chances, they learned nothing, they went out of business.

Is there an Oppo meet next week?! In the NC area? I know one of the Oppo guys wanted to do one in Greensboro, but he hasn’t sent out an email about anything yet.
If so, I’d love to. jwestbrookemail@gmail.com

I wouldn’t mind if GM is killed. Most superfluous car company ever.
I’ll get my flamesuit as well.

Just emailed him. So far there’s only for or five people that have committed to it, but it’d be great to have another.

All of that works out. I might be able to drag some friends along. I’m part of his email group so I’ll double back and make sure I haven’t missed anything.

Oh cool, I didn’t know that you were from NC. But I’d like to have a meet closer to Raleigh later in the year, possibly December or something.

knowing the way fiat/chrysler works now they’d more likely buy saab and sell the crappy european lancia hatchbacks as saabs in the US to confuse people into buying unreliable tarted up fiats.
